More ABOUT ME

I’ve been an athlete my entire life, born and raised in Calgary, AB. Sports were always my outlet, they gave me structure, identity, and a way to test myself. But everything changed after a full shoulder reconstruction. The sports I had built my world around were suddenly out of reach, and I was left searching for a new path. That search led me to endurance sports. At first, triathlon was just a way to stay active, but it quickly became more than that. It became a way to push beyond the limits I thought I had, to prove to myself that I could endure, and to rediscover what it meant to be an athlete.

Within just three years of picking up the sport, I found myself training alongside some of the best elite triathletes in Western Canada. I raced internationally, lining up against thousands of competitors, and placed among the top of the field. Those experiences were humbling and exhilarating, not because of the medals or placements, but because they showed me how much growth is possible when you commit to the process. But my journey hasn’t been without setbacks. More recently, I was diagnosed with a medical condition that forced me to step back and rebuild once again. It has been a humbling process, balancing recovery with the same drive to train and compete that first pulled me into triathlon. This chapter has reminded me that endurance isn’t just about sport; it’s about mindset, patience, and resilience.

Coaching grew out of these experiences. I know what it feels like to be the beginner, the injured athlete trying to find their way back, and the competitor chasing the sharp end of the field. Forge Endurance is my way of giving athletes the structure, support, and belief they need to move forward, no matter where they are in their journey. My dream is still unfolding. As I heal and rebuild, I continue to pursue my own goal of racing at the professional level. But just as important as that personal pursuit is being in the corner of others, athletes writing their own stories, step by step, mile by mile, and discovering what they are truly capable of.
